Or perhaps, they just want to go on a vacation and see a different country? Maybe some people take a short trip to see what another "culture" is like or investigate a possible new place to live? On a journey, discouragement and co-dependency can hold us back, but encouragement enables us to go forward.
Learning to go God's way requires the assistance of "modern meterological" connections, a compass, and a road map. God expects us to pick up the map and follow the proper roads. If we disregard the map we can get off on a dead end; wasting hours, maybe days, or even years of life..
We don't have to give up a journey if we get lost. We check the weather conditions (prayers), we consult our compass (directional awareness) and we get out the map ... it will tell us the way. With these aids, our lives can actually become easier ... that's what tools were designed to do! Setting goals is biblical.
"For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace ..." (I Corinthians 14:33)
Discover why you should set goals. Goals aren't just a nuisance, like "New Year's" resolutions. When you follow the "MAPS" formula you will reach your chosen destination! "Two sisters" will try to distort your way, so focus is vital.
It is helpful to differentiate your goals as to personal, household, work, and spiritual. Each step of "MAPS" leads you closer to achievement. It is possible to meet all your goals if you follow this process.
Do you long for happiness?
Or maybe you don't know what goals to set?
Maybe you think goals are foolish?
Many people think this way because they do not know what their purpose is. They don't know why they are even alive. The book of Ephesians offers an answer.
Reviewing the need for balance and setting priorities, then writing your personal mission and vision statements, will connect you to your purpose. Writing down your goals according to the "MAPS" formula enables you to fulfill this purpose with passion.
Living your purpose with passion transforms your life.
